New details of the investigation: The killer ate some parts of Mirela's body

Austrian media have published new shocking details regarding the murder of Mirela Batanović (20), originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was stabbed to death by her boyfriend Aleksandar (20) in his apartment near the Austrian city of Salzburg on the night between October 8 and 9.

As Austrian media report, including the Austrian public broadcasting service (ORF), this is not only an occult-ritual murder, but cannibalism is also suspected!

According to media reports, after the murder, Aleksandar carved an occult symbol into the body of the murdered girl with a knife, and then cut off and ate some parts of Mirela's body.

The Salzburg Public Prosecutor's Office has neither confirmed nor denied these media reports, and the results of the psychological examination of the killer, as well as the final results of the autopsy of the victim's body, are not yet known to the public, NAP reports.

Mirela's killer Aleksandar has been in pre-trial detention since October 20, and will be brought before the investigating judge again on Monday.

Mirela and Aleksandar had been in a relationship for about a year and a half, and their friends say he was pathologically jealous. The killer is originally from Russia.
