(Patria) - After three unknown young people in black t-shirts and shorts attacked a Spanish citizen with initials M.E.M.G. (1975) in Mostar a few days ago while he was with his minor son wearing a BiH jersey walking in Zrinjevac Park, a new incident occurred in the city on the Neretva River.
Namely, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton announced that on the night of July 16-17, at 1:10 AM, citizens informed the Mostar Police Administration that two people were physically attacked with baseball bats in the Tekija settlement on the Hasan Brkić bridge.
Police officers immediately responded to the scene and found H.L. (2003) with visible head injuries and M.J. (2000), both from Mostar.
The two stated that they were sitting on a bench when a Golf V car stopped next to them, and three individuals got out, one of whom repeatedly hit L.H. with a baseball bat, after which they left in the car towards the New City Bypass.
Through operational work in the field and a quick police response, the mentioned vehicle with the individuals was spotted and stopped in Kralja Tomislava Street.
The vehicle was driven by R.M. (2001), and with him in the Golf were V.Š. (1995) and M.T. (1995), all from Mostar.
Each of them had a wooden bat in the vehicle.
These individuals were arrested and detained in official premises for criminal processing.
The injured L.H. was diagnosed with severe bodily injuries at the "Dr. Safet Mujić" hospital.
