SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Government of Sarajevo Canton has decided on new relaxations of epidemiological measures. Cafes are allowed to operate until 8 PM, with a maximum of 20 people inside the premises, while observing all hygiene and epidemiological measures.
Previously, measures only allowed catering facilities to operate in gardens and terraces, but these new measures, with restrictions, also permit operation indoors.
New measures also allow students from the seventh and eighth grades to return to school desks, in addition to elementary school students from the first to fifth grades. Classes will continue to be held using a combined model. Other students will continue to attend online. Higher education institutions are still recommended to conduct online classes, with up to twenty students allowed to attend exams.
Fitness centers and gyms are allowed to operate, with the requirement of 7 square meters of net space per person, and no more than 20 people inside.
The new measures also allow public swimming pools and betting shops to operate, while observing all hygiene and epidemiological measures," the Sarajevo Canton Government announced.
