Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić today, at the headquarters of the Federal Government in Sarajevo, spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina Cihad Erginay, reports the news agency Patria.
Congratulating him on taking office and wishing him success in his work, the Turkish ambassador said that it was already evident from the federal prime minister's exposé that he had thoroughly prepared for the job that awaited him.
The federal prime minister informed the guest about some of the most important projects that await the FBiH Government in the coming period and for which, as he said, there is complete harmony and determination within the FBiH Government for their implementation.
The interlocutors jointly stated that strengthening the economic sector in BiH and FBiH is of crucial importance. Ambassador Erginay informed the Prime Minister of FBiH that Turkey has opened a new credit line intended to increase productivity and employment in local small and medium-sized enterprises.
Satisfaction was also expressed with the quality of the works carried out by Turkish construction companies on the Corridor 5c highway route. In this context, Prime Minister Novalić said that it is necessary to find new modes of financing construction not only within this project but also for overall road construction, including expressways.
Opportunities for economic cooperation between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina also exist in numerous other sectors, such as the textile, leather, food, and metal industries.
Today, the expansion of successful cooperation in the fields of education and science was also discussed, it was announced from the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government.
