Novalić confirmed: Development Bank bought Agrokomerc, negotiations underway with foreign investor

Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić confirmed the previous reporting of the Patria news agency regarding the detailed plan for the sale of Agrokomerc from Velika Kladuša. Appearing on FTV's show "Answer the People," Novalić said that the buyer is the Development Bank.

"We entered Agrokomerc, meaning we bought it from ourselves. The debts were around 100 million KM. Private creditors filed lawsuits, we determined that amount, the Development Bank of FBiH bought it, and that is the best solution. We offered as much money as needed to satisfy the creditors. Other companies offered more, but they backed out. This is the center in Velika Kladuša, there is a center in Pjanić and a center in Ćoralići. We will apply the same technique there. We found three investors, two domestic and one foreign, with whom we are negotiating, and we will definitely resolve this after 20 years," said Novalić.

For the record, Patria has so far published a series of articles explaining the plan for the sale, i.e., the devaluation of Agrokomerc's assets from about 25 million KM to just 2.2 million KM.

Offers for Agrokomerc were submitted by two Sarajevo businessmen, Nihad Imamović and Mustafa Gadžo, through their companies "Ein Natural" and "Silsila." At the oral sale of part of Agrokomerc's assets held before the Municipal Court in Velika Kladuša at the end of February this year, Imamović emerged as the best bidder with 12 million KM, the second was Gadžo with 5.5 million KM, while the Development Bank of FBiH was third with 2.2 million KM.

Two or three days before he was supposed to pay the money, Imamović backed out "due to telephone threats." Then, without explanation, Gadžo also backed out, and in the end, the Development Bank of FBiH bought Agrokomerc for only 2.2 million KM, which NAP reported three months ago would ultimately happen.

The offer from a Turkish businessman of 30 million KM, which was rejected, for which Patria also published valid documentation, is not mentioned by Novalić or anyone else.
