(Patria) - One person died and two were injured in a traffic accident that occurred this morning at 2 AM in Šujica, on the M-15 Tomislavgrad - Šujica main road.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Canton 10 announced that the fatally injured driver was born in 2005 in Tomislavgrad, while two passengers, born in 2006, who were also in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries.
The young man driving the Golf 4 lost control of the vehicle at one point and skidded off the road. He sustained severe injuries from which he later died at the Cantonal Hospital in Livno.
The body of the deceased was transported to the morgue of the Cantonal Hospital in Livno by order of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, where an autopsy will be performed.
An investigation was conducted at the scene by officers of the Tomislavgrad Police Department, the MUP of Canton 10 announced.
