(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament should, at today's urgent session, consider the Collegium Committee's report on efforts to reach an agreement on the Bill on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2020, proposed by the BiH Presidency. So far, BiH has been on temporary financing.
The House will vote in the second round of voting, as no agreement was reached in the Collegium.
The House of Representatives of the state parliament considered the Bill on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2020 at an urgent session on July 9, in the first reading. During the vote, it received general support but not the required entity majority, and was sent to the Collegium for harmonization. The budget was rejected by SNSD and HDZ. A day after the appointment of SNSD and HDZ officials to the top positions of state institutions, the situation seems different. The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers also stated that they expect the budget to be adopted.
Deputies should also consider the Collegium Committee's report on efforts to reach an agreement on the proposed conclusion of MPs: Aida Baručija, Jasmin Emrić, Mirjana Marinković-Lepić, and Damir Arnaut, which would oblige the BiH Council of Ministers to annul all previously adopted decisions in 2020 regarding new employment, and that any new employment should only be carried out if it is necessary for the functioning of the institution submitting a justified and substantiated request to the BiH Council of Ministers.
