New arrest of former Army of RBiH soldiers, Brčko police also detained Šemsa Pekića

Brčko District police today arrested former member of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šemsa Pekića, reported local portal Otisak, as reported by the BiH news agency Patria. 

One of the witnesses said that Pekić was buying meat when a police van stopped next to the butcher shop, from which special forces emerged and arrested Pekić.

Otisak writes that this is the third arrest of former defenders of Brčko - in the last four days - who opposed the Serbian aggression against BiH in 1992. First, on November 5, former commander of the Brčko brigade Mensur Đakić was arrested, and a day later Senad Pekić Bula. Former members of the Army of RBiH were arrested for alleged war crimes during the conflict in BiH.

Bosniak political parties have not yet reacted to the arrests of former Army of RBiH soldiers, writes NAP.
