(Patria) - Srđan Šuput, acting deputy director of the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska, stated that Nova Banka Banja Luka has bought Sberbanka.
Šuput added that the bank is getting a new owner and will continue normal operations tomorrow.
Details of the transaction cannot be disclosed to the public as they are, according to him, a business secret.
Siniša Adžić, director of Nova Banka, said that Nova Banka felt a responsibility and is participating in the offer.
"I am proud that we can influence the stability of the financial sector and provide clients with what they had in the past period," he said, adding that Nova Banka is liquid.
