(Patria) - US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris leads Republican candidate and former US President Donald Trump.
This is shown by data from a Reuters/Ipsos poll, according to which Harris has a 47 percent chance of winning the presidential election, compared to Trump who has a 40 percent chance, reports RSE.
When asked which candidate has a better approach to the economy, unemployment, and jobs, about 43 percent of voters in the poll chose Trump, and 41 percent chose Harris.
Trump's two-point lead on these issues has decreased compared to his earlier lead. Trump had an 11-point lead when Harris first launched her presidential campaign.
While surveys like the Reuters/Ipsos poll provide significant indications of voter sentiment, the results of the state electors decide the winner.
The data from the latest poll is based on a survey of 1,029 Americans nationwide, including 871 registered voters.
