About a hundred children from the Primary Ballet and Music School "Ars Centar" and the Ballet Studio "Ars Centar" Zenica and Kakanj performed the play "Sleeping Beauty" on Sunday on the main stage of the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica, reports the Patria News Agency.
Members of the Zenica Ballet School, who recently represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at competitions in Bulgaria and Romania, from which they brought back a large number of medals, also presented themselves to the theatre visitors.
The evening at the Bosnian National Theatre was further enhanced by the members of the "Ars Centar" choir.
- The competitors who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bulgaria and Romania this year came back with excellent results, with gold, silver, and bronze medals. We wanted to show our fellow citizens how we represented our school, this city, and this country in those countries. We stood shoulder to shoulder with the best ballet schools in the world - stated Biljana Trifković, director of the "Ars Centar" Music School.
