German initiative for finding suppliers sends invitation to BiH companies

As part of the German initiative for finding suppliers in Central and Eastern European countries, a forum called „2nd CEE Procurement & Supply Forum“ will be held in Prague on October 15, reports the Patria news agency.

The organizers of this forum are the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME e.V) and the network of German Chambers of Foreign Trade (AHK) in the participating countries. The goal of the initiative is for selected companies from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia to meet with German companies interested in establishing business contacts with manufacturers from these countries, i.e., their potential suppliers of goods and services from specified business sectors.

Company meetings will be organized as B2B matchmaking talks.

German companies are looking for suppliers from the mechanical engineering/plant construction and automotive sectors according to the following product groups: metal processing: stamped/turned/milled/pressed/welded/forged/cast parts, plastic/electronics: pressed/stamped parts, molds; (servo)motors, cables and other: surface treatment, painting, tool production.

Profiles of German companies and the application form for participation in this event are published on the website of the Representative Office of German Economy in BiH, and it must be submitted no later than August 31, 2015. Received applications will be analyzed and evaluated by German companies, and they will invite those companies from BiH that meet their criteria. The participation fee for B2B talks for AHK BiH members with a discount is 245 EUR, and for other companies 295 EUR. Travel and accommodation costs are borne by the forum participants themselves.
