During the bloody conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, numerous crimes were committed in the area of Teslić, where the Army of Republika Srpska in 1992 abused and killed hundreds of Bosniaks and Croats, and among the notorious units that spread fear and death in this area, the paramilitary unit „Miće“ stands out, whose members are responsible for the most horrific crimes, looting and rapes, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
As recently as the end of 2014, SIPA arrested 13 suspects for war crimes committed against the Bosniak and Croatian population in the areas of Doboj and Teslić in 1992, and among them, most were members of the paramilitary formation „Miće“.
The formation "Miće" was established under the patronage of the then SDS leaders in Doboj. Members of "Miće" are suspected of committing numerous murders in the wider areas of Derventa, Doboj, Modriča and Teslić in the summer of 1992.
Even Serbs feared their terror.
In June 1992, a group of about twenty armed men, led by "red berets" and a certain Njegoš, burst into a meeting of the Crisis Staff in the Teslić municipality building. After checking the IDs of municipal officials, individuals were slapped and ordered to do push-ups on the spot.
However, members of the „Miće“ unit are not the only ones responsible for the crimes in Teslić. According to official records from 1992, members of the RS police also participated in the abduction of Bosniaks and Croats from Teslić.
In a report dated June 19, 1992, made at the „Pribinić“ military prison and signed by the prison warden Dragan Babić, it is stated that 16 people were admitted to the prison that day. The list shows that 13 Bosniaks and three Croats were brought in that day.

Facsimile of the record from June 1992 testifies to the bringing of Bosniaks and Croats to the Pribinić camp
Reports from the Hague Tribunal also state that the „Pribinić“ camp was run by military and police personnel of the VRS.
The crimes of the RS police in the Teslić area are also evidenced by a document in which a certain Nela Pastuhović is looking for her husband, who was taken away by the RS police in June 1992.
Nela states that the police, then the militia, broke into her apartment, took her husband and her brother, and that all trace of them has been lost since then.
- On June 7, 1992, a militia car came and took my husband from the house without any explanation. They just came for him. The driver was militiaman Petrović Aleksa, and the man who came into the apartment was in a camouflage uniform. I later found out that he was reserve militiaman Letić, I don't know his first name.
From that day until today, I have not been able to find out anything about my husband. Wherever I went, whoever I asked if they knew anything, the answer was always the same: „He is not here, we don't know anything, look further...“
I looked in the SUP, TO, CZ, at Đulić and even in the Health Center, but without success.
I note that I was told that the SUP should know and that I should start with the one who brought him in. However, even there the answer was that nothing was known, only that he was brought to the SUP, and handed over to some fat man for interrogation.

Since the same day and the same people also took my brother Glancor Viktor, his wife also looked for him, and from commander Markočević Predrag, when asked „where are they“, she received the answer that they are not here but were taken to Manjača. I got the answer from the same person that he knows nothing. I kindly ask you to inform us about his fate – states the desperate letter of Nela Pastuhović.
