Nikšić on Judgment Review: An Atmosphere Created as if Seeking Justice Is Shameful

President of the SDP of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić said he will attend the gathering on Friday at the Vijećnica in Sarajevo, where the review of the judgment in the lawsuit filed by BiH against Serbia before the International Court of Justice in The Hague will be discussed.

Nikšić told the Dnevnik D program of Federal Television that "there is no one who has the right to forbid the citizens of BiH, who survived the aggression, from now seeking truth and justice." Of course, Nikšić said, "this search must be based on laws and must have facts and evidence."

- It seems to me that an atmosphere has now been created as if it is shameful to seek justice - said Nikšić. He added that he expects to hear from the legal team of BiH on Friday about new facts and evidence, that is, whether the new materials are sufficient for BiH to reach the truth before the International Court of Justice.

- If the legal team says there are no new facts, I have no problem saying that we should not rush into it - added Nikšić.

He said that political elites in Serbia still do not show that they are ready to acknowledge what happened in BiH in the early '90s. He reminded that Serbia is rehabilitating Draža Mihajlović, hiding Novak Džukić, who is responsible for the crime at the Tuzla Gate, and that this does not contribute to the stabilization of relations between the two countries...
