Budget rebalance not adopted, but decision on temporary financing passed

Deputies of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly at today's emergency session did not support the proposed rebalance of this year's cantonal budget, so it was not adopted, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The voting result was: 14 "for", 14 "against" and seven "abstentions".

A decision was made on the temporary financing of the needs of the Sarajevo Canton for the first three months of 2015. The emergency session ended, and it was decided that a meeting of the Appointments Commission would be held regarding the CIK's decision on the lists for the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.

Given that the lists that need to be certified by the CIK, which contain disputed names, are still awaited, and that the deadline for appeals has not yet passed, the continuation of the constitutive session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly was not possible. The session will be held on Monday, after the Commission for Elections and Appointments meets and receives a response from the CIK.
