Not even two months after sending the summons, Dodik has not been questioned: "In the interest of the investigation" - the Prosecutor's Office remains silent!

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which initiated the case regarding the non-execution of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina's decision concerning the holding of a referendum in the RS, has already conducted a series of interviews with certain individuals, but the questioning of Milorad Dodik has not been carried out to this day, Patria reports.

We remind you that the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina banned the holding of a referendum in the RS regarding its decision that January 9, as the Day of the Republika Srpska, is unconstitutional. Ignoring the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a criminal offense punishable by up to five years in prison under the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

So far, about ten individuals have been questioned in connection with the "referendum case," but the main protagonist of the entire story, Milorad Dodik, is "outsmarting" the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Milorad Dodik, the President of the RS, was initially sent a summons for questioning as a suspect in the case related to the referendum in that entity, but Goran Bubić, Dodik's lawyer, stated that they had not received a response from the Prosecutor's Office to their request for Milorad Dodik to be questioned at any location or institution in the Republika Srpska.

- We will not appear at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have not received any response. That is the procedure in the Prosecutor's Office. They certainly will not inform us about it by phone. I don't know what the Prosecutor's Office is thinking - Bubić said back on October 3.

However, even today, two full months after those events, the public does not know much more. As is usually the case, from this institution, justifying themselves with the already iconic phrase "in the interest of the investigation," it is almost impossible to find out what is actually happening. To very clear questions: "Will Milorad Dodik be questioned regarding the holding of the referendum, and where will the questioning take place? Why has this case been ongoing for so long?" from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the typical answer:

- In the case you are asking about, we are continuously summoning and examining/questioning suspects and witnesses. We cannot provide information about individual activities - says Boris Grubešić, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
