Spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH Boris Grubešić, in response to an inquiry from the Patria news agency “whether an order has been issued and an investigation officially opened against Milorad Dodik”, did not wish to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation, stating only briefly that “the Prosecutor's Office of BiH cannot provide any comment on the said inquiry.”
For some time now, the media has been circulating a story that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is investigating Dodik on suspicion of irregularities related to the purchase of a villa in Belgrade.
The order to open an investigation, unofficially, was issued after the hearing of Slobodan Pavlović, owner of “Pavlović Bank”. Pavlović was heard regarding a loan that Dodik allegedly took out from “Pavlović Bank” to pay for the villa in Dedinje.
