Independent Board of the PSBiH awaits the Prosecutor's Office: No discussion on Vilić's dismissal

At the session of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH), members of this body were briefed on the reports of the Office for Audit of Institutions of BiH on the financial audit for 2014 of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA), the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, and the Border Police of BiH, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The Office for Audit of Institutions of BiH assessed the financial operations of the aforementioned institutions in 2014 with an auditor's "positive opinion with emphasis of matter." Accordingly, it was decided that the Independent Board would hold a meeting with the heads of SIPA, the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, and the Border Police of BiH to discuss the Office's recommendations and solutions for their implementation.

The Independent Board, however, did not discuss the dismissal of the director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, Mirsad Vilić, because the Prosecutor's Office of BiH did not submit information regarding the attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić in Srebrenica on July 11.

The requested information from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH did not reach the Parliament for the members of the Independent Board, so this issue was not considered.
