Independent Board: Decisions on protected persons, facilities, and shipments are necessary

The Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), while reviewing the 2016 Work Report of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH and the 2017 Work Programme of the Directorate, held discussions with the Director of this police agency, Mirsad Vilić, and his deputies, Uroš Pen and Mile Jurić.

Taking note of the aforementioned Report and Work Plan, the Independent Board also passed a conclusion that will be sent to the Ministry of Security of BiH, pointing out to the Council of Ministers of BiH the necessity of adopting a Decision on persons, facilities, and valuable shipments that are to be protected.

Considering the fact that the adoption of the aforementioned Decision also envisages a reduction in financial resources necessary for carrying out this jurisdiction of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, the Independent Board will request the Ministry of Security of BiH to adopt, upon its adoption, also an Instruction on the scope of physical protection of persons, facilities, and valuable shipments that are to be protected.
