Independent Bloc: We demand an urgent reaction from the Prosecutor's Office to the corruption video of the SDA leadership

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The video released to the public by Semir Efendić, in which Asim Sarajlić, a representative in the Parliament of BiH, is clearly heard 'fixing' delegates for his candidate, most clearly shows the profile
of the current, corrupt and criminal leadership of the SDA, headed by the married couple Bakir and Sebija, it is stated in a press release from the Independent Bloc.

"We call on the Prosecutor's Offices in our country to react urgently, examine all participants and prosecute this case. From the moment Bakir Izetbegović was first elected at the Congress as president of the SDA, through the most obvious theft of votes and rigging of results for himself and his minions, which can still be seen today in a video on YouTube, titled 'Quarrel at the SDA Congress', every subsequent step of theirs was the takeover of the levers of the state that should serve their interest and family connections," the statement adds.

From the Independent Bloc, they warn of "the brutal theft of the 2018 elections, the buying of deputies in the Parliament of the FBiH after those elections to maintain this government. Granting multi-million tenders from public companies to private firms of the bribed deputies Elmedin Voloder and Eldin Vračea, who 'changed sides' and became advocates of this government and octopus. The video shows how the director
of the Intelligence Service is involved in the dirty work of 'fixing' people to vote for the mayor of Sarajevo, an SDA cadre, and what the ministries in the new government of the Canton of Sarajevo will serve. The Independent Bloc calls on the Prosecutor's Office to react urgently and inform the public about the results of the investigation into this video, as well as the case of buying deputies Vračea and Voloder, because even then Asim Sarajlić was the person for 'fixing', which can be seen from media reports from January last year."

"Also, this case shows how important it is for BiH to get a new Election Law that will enable electronic voting and scanning of ballots, in order to restore people's faith in elections and prevent various 'sarajlićs' from stealing from us, cheating us and redrawing the will of the people. The Independent Bloc will soon submit the proposal for amendments to this Law, which we worked on together with partners from other alternative political parties that have representatives in the Parliament of BiH, into the adoption procedure and we expect support from domestic and international actors and partners, who, especially after this latest affair with the video, must become actively involved," it was stated in the press release of the Independent Bloc.
