Independent Bloc: BiH Parliament must not be blocked due to the rhetoric of incompetent leaders

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - This morning's postponement of the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a continuation of retrograde policy, diverting attention from the work of the current majority, as well as the general despair brought about by the current political leaders. The Independent Bloc considers it unacceptable to block the work of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to warmongering rhetoric.

- The current political leaders, trapped in the past, are coordinating media spats day after day, from which the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina derive no benefit. After the statements of the SDA leader and current Bosniak member of the Presidency, Bakir Izetbegović, the SNSD leader and President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the member of the Presidency from the Croat people and President of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, we in this country only count the damages, just as after some fire, earthquake, or flood.

They are a natural disaster for this country. Their vision is clearly constant conflict, from which only they and their subordinates benefit. Unfortunately, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who falsely presents himself as a factor of stability in the Balkans, only fuels this fire and spreads it further. His policy and the media he controls only harm Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and the region as a whole.  

Such rhetoric will only accelerate the departure of young people from our country and will not contribute to Euro-Atlantic processes and the opportunities we have. The Independent Bloc will not build a new policy on these old matrices and will focus on internal agreement, new economic policy, and a vision that will free Bosnia and Herzegovina from the current political leaders and their constant fabricated confrontations. Therefore, we call for the gathering of political forces that are ready to move the country forward and reject the current policy of quarrels and incompetence - say the Independent Bloc.
