Unprecedented tragedy near Bosanska Gradiška: Father runs over child with truck

(Patria) - A minor child died today in the village of Gornji Karajzovci near Bosanska Gradiška in the yard of a family home, during the movement of a cargo vehicle, the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka announced.

The accident occurred around 11 a.m., and the Mercedes cargo vehicle was driven by a person with initials O.S. (39).

As ATV reports, in this unprecedented tragedy, a five-year-old was accidentally run over by a truck driven by his father.

An on-site investigation was conducted by prosecutor Biljana Janković of the District Public Prosecutor's Office Banja Luka, together with officers of the Bosanska Gradiška Police Administration.

The prosecutor ordered the necessary measures and actions to determine the circumstances of this event.

An autopsy of the body of the deceased child will also be ordered, which will be performed at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Republika Srpska.
