Netanyahu: We will not continue with the ceasefire unless we receive the list of hostages

(Patria) - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will not implement the ceasefire in Gaza until it receives the list of 33 hostages that Hamas will release in the first phase of the agreement.

“We will not continue with the agreement until we receive the list of hostages to be released, as agreed. Israel will not tolerate violations of the agreement. The sole responsibility lies with Hamas,” Netanyahu said in a statement on platform X.

Meanwhile, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued a statement addressed to Gaza residents, containing instructions for Sunday, when the ceasefire will take effect.

He warned that movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip or towards the Netzarim Corridor remains dangerous due to military activities in the area. When movement is permitted, instructions will be given.

The Israeli army will remain deployed in certain areas of the Gaza Strip and no one is allowed to approach its officers. It is also dangerous to approach the Rafah crossing, the Philadelphi Corridor, and all areas of southern Gaza where Israeli forces are deployed.

In the coastal area of the Gaza Strip, fishing, swimming, and diving are dangerous, and entering the sea in the coming days is warned against. Approaching Israeli territory and the buffer zone is prohibited.
