Netanyahu: Yemeni port we attacked used for deliveries of Iranian weapons to Houthis

(Patria) - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the port attacked by Israeli fighter jets in Yemen on Saturday was used as an entry point for the Houthis to receive Iranian weapons, Al Arabiya reported.

Netanyahu said the attack, about 1,800 km from Israel's borders, was a reminder to enemies that there is no place Israel cannot reach.

He said Israel would "defend itself by all means," a few hours after fighter jets struck a Houthi-controlled port in Yemen in retaliation for a deadly drone attack.

"I have a message for Israel's enemies. Do not be mistaken, we will defend ourselves by all means, on all fronts. Anyone who harms us will pay a very high price for their aggression," he said in a televised address a day after a drone killed a civilian in Tel Aviv.
