Accident in Lukavac: Three workers released home, one kept for treatment

An accident occurred this morning at the construction site of the Islamic Center in Lukavac, injuring four workers, but fortunately without fatalities, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The contractor is the company „Sagra“ from Gračanica, and the accident happened when workers began removing the formwork and shuttering from the dome-shaped part of the structure, which suddenly collapsed.

The injured workers S.Ž, N.B, V.O, and E.S were transported to the University Clinical Center Tuzla, where they received medical assistance. Three were released home, while one was kept for further treatment due to injuries.

At the scene of the accident, an investigation was conducted by the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton and the duty prosecutor.
