Accident in Lukavac: Car hits three pedestrians, one fatally injured

(Patria) - One pedestrian was killed and two were injured when a car hit them tonight on a local road in the village of Gnojnica in Lukavac.

The traffic accident occurred around 6:15 PM, confirmed the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton, Adnana Sprečić.

According to her, a car and three pedestrians were involved in this traffic accident.

Emergency medical teams from Lukavac and police officers from the Lukavac Police Station immediately responded to the scene.

- The doctor on the scene confirmed the death of the pedestrian with initials Đ.S. (1960), residing in Berkovica, while the other two injured pedestrians were transported to the University Clinical Center Tuzla - added Sprečić.

The investigation is ongoing.
