Accident in the center of Sarajevo: Pedestrian sustained severe bodily injuries

Last night at 10:05 PM, a traffic accident occurred on the roadway at the intersection of Obala Kulina Bana and Zelenih Beretki streets in Sarajevo, in which a pedestrian sustained severe injuries, the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs announced, reports the Patria News Agency.

Pedestrian B.Z. from Sarajevo was hit by a VW Polo driven by L.N. from Sarajevo. The pedestrian was transported to the Emergency Center of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, where doctors determined severe bodily injuries, and after treatment, she was sent home for further recovery. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the accident, and the investigation was carried out by members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to the statement.
