Accident in Brčko: Worker from Bimal killed at construction site

(Patria) - A fatal accident occurred today at a construction site in the Brod business zone in Brčko.

A worker from the company Bimal d.d. Brčko lost his life under circumstances that have not yet been determined, which were not related to the ongoing construction of the business facility, the company announced.

The Emergency Service, Fire Department, Labour Inspectorate and the Police of Brčko District of BiH were immediately notified of the case, and they are taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction.

The police are determining all the circumstances that led to the worker's death.

"Our company is cooperating with the competent authorities and providing all necessary information it possesses regarding the accident.

Due to the ongoing investigation, we cannot disclose more information at this time," Bimal stated.
