Highway accident: Son and daughter of former Director of the Agency for Protection of Competition killed

In a horrific traffic accident that occurred on Tuesday on the A1 highway towards Zagreb, near Josipdol, the son and daughter of Olgica and Davorin Spevec were killed, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Filip (32) and Hana (28) Spevec were driving a Mercedes when, for reasons yet unclear, they veered off the road.

"The 32-year-old driver of the car with Zagreb license plates lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed and drove off the road, hitting an embankment and overturning multiple times. The 32-year-old driver and the 28-year-old passenger were fatally injured in the traffic accident," the police reported.

Olgica Spevec headed the Agency for the Protection of Competition for ten years, after which she founded a consulting firm. Her husband Davorin is a former director of the Zagreb Fair, writes Index.
