ACCIDENT NEAR JAJCE Woman died after her car plunged into the Vrbas River

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A traffic accident occurred today near the Tuk tunnel near Jajce, in which one person died.

The woman was driving a car when it plunged into the Vrbas River.

Police officers from the Jajce Police Station, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Central Bosnia Canton, and members of the Jajce Mountain Rescue Service worked to find the woman.

"Unfortunately, another young life has ended in the Vrbas River. Our search team found and recovered the body of the unfortunate victim. We express our sincere condolences to the family," stated the Jajce Mountain Rescue Service.

According to information published by local media, the victim is Đ.K. from Jajce, whose body was recovered around 3 PM.

More details about the accident will be known later.
