(In)competence: An operational team is being formed to manage the action of cleaning and tidying up Sarajevo

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, Enver Hadžiahmetović, announced today the introduction of new, concrete steps to improve the cleanliness of the city and restore order in the field of communal cleanliness in Sarajevo.

Following numerous complaints and dissatisfaction from citizens due to the dirty city and irregular waste collection, the minister once again requested answers from the responsible companies KJKP “Rad” and KJKP “Park” to the increasingly frequent questions in this area.

As stated by Hadžiahmetović, the current situation and citizen dissatisfaction are unacceptable, and urgent measures will be taken, and the cleanliness of the city will be a priority in his work in the coming period. At the meeting that the minister held today with the management of the company “Rad”, it was agreed to urgently form an Operational Team that will manage the action of introducing order in the field of communal cleanliness on the streets of Sarajevo. The team will be managed personally by Minister Hadžiahmetović.
