Neretva like Miljacka: No trace of emerald color, Herzegovina's beauty like a sewage drain

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mostar residents and visitors to this Herzegovinian city were shocked today by the color of the Neretva River. 

We all remember Mostar and the Neretva and enjoy its emerald color. 

However, the color of this Herzegovinian beauty today resembles sewage drains for feces, like those we have in almost all major cities. 

There is no trace of green color, everything is murky and sad. 

Mostar journalist Sanel Kajan tried to find out what happened.

"I tried to find out why the Neretva through Mostar is so murky. The Mostar Hydroelectric Power Plant says that work is underway around the dam and that the Neretva has pulled in soil. They also say that the turbidity should pass soon. However, it would certainly be interesting to see a chemical and bacteriological analysis of the river water. And I wouldn't be surprised if scoundrels took advantage of the moment and released feces from the so-called collectors. But here - what I officially have is that the color of the Neretva is the result of work around the HE Mostar," he wrote on Facebook.

The whole situation also caused revolt in the Twitter community, and some ironically compared the Neretva to the Miljacka in spring.
