Nenadić orders end to annual leave for responsible persons in the healthcare system

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister Mario Nenadić today ordered the president and all members of the Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Health, employees of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Health, as well as directors and all members of the management bodies of public health institutions in Sarajevo Canton, to suspend the use of initiated as well as planned annual leave until further notice.

"All those who are currently on and using annual leave days are obliged to report to work immediately and thus make themselves available to the citizens of Sarajevo Canton and the KS Ministry of Health, which organizes, coordinates and supervises the implementation of the current fight against the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as the recovery and treatment of all our fellow citizens who have unfortunately already contracted the COVID-19 infectious disease.

Among other things, the reason for this type of order lies in the fact that in recent days there has been a further deterioration of the health-epidemiological situation and an increase in the number of coronavirus infections in Sarajevo Canton," the statement sent from the KS Government states.
