
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mario Nenadić, Prime Minister of KS, said that the KS Government has adopted a decision to shorten the working hours of all retail outlets until 4:30 PM.
"The period from 4:30 PM until the ban on movement until 6 PM needs to be shortened so that every citizen can get home on time. Controls will be strict and rigorous," said Nenadić, calling on citizens to be responsible and adhere to the measures.
A Decision on reducing rent for tenants of premises owned by the Sarajevo Canton has been adopted, as well as a Decision on ceasing parking fee collection in KS, except for enclosed, controlled parking lots with ramps, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM every day.
"Financing the fight against coronavirus, a special budget item for the procurement of medical and sanitary equipment amounting to one million KM to open a fund and establish procedures for how these funds will be spent. Acceptance of the agreement with UNDP on the procurement of medical equipment, sanitary supplies, and both parties will participate with an amount of 500,000 KM, with UNDP contributing 300,000 KM. A Decision on forming a special budget item of 5 million KM to support entrepreneurs. A series of decisions on social services," said Nenadić.
He stated that a Conclusion on respecting the adopted measures has been made, and the punishment of those who do not comply will be intensified.
"We will persevere with the ban on movement and social gatherings," said Nenadić, adding that criminal charges will also be filed.
Within social protection, a decision has been made to increase the base amounts for recipients of social benefits.
He said that the accommodation of migrants in the Blažuj reception center will continue, and additional capacity for the Blažuj center to accommodate migrants is planned.
A decision has also been made to expand the capacities of KCUS and the General Hospital for the expansion of isolation ward capacities.
"We noted that despite all the measures adopted, there are too many gatherings at picnic areas around Sarajevo. There was a recommendation that people should move around, but not have picnics; yesterday, spits were turning around Sarajevo," said Nenadić.
