The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted today the Report on the implementation of the Investment Development Funds Spending Program established by the FBiH Budget for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009, as of June 30, 2015, for the Sarajevo bypass project, reports the Patria news agency.
On this occasion, the Government tasked the Public Enterprise Roads of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina d.o.o. Sarajevo to analyze the possibilities for securing additional financial resources for the implementation of this project, given that, according to the opinion of the Federal Ministry of Finance, additional funds cannot currently be allocated from the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for this purpose.
The Roads of FBiH were also ordered to carry out all legal procedures for the collection of receivables after the termination of the contract with the company „Osijek-koteks“ d.d. Osijek, and to conduct regular control of the works performed on LOT 2 under the contract with the contractor JP „Euroasfalt-GP ŽGP“ Sarajevo, it was announced from the Government of FBiH.
Given that Jelka Miličević, the Minister of Finance, is under the direct control of the leader of HDZ BiH Dragan Čović and acts exclusively on his orders, it has long been rumored in the Government that she allegedly keeps in her drawer a document approving 50 million marks for the continuation of the construction of the Sarajevo bypass.
Allegedly, Čović deliberately does not want the Sarajevo bypass project to be completed, due to the faster construction of a section of the highway in Herzegovina where Počitelj should be connected with Međugorje.
