Nedžad defended BiH as a minor, was wounded four times, and today barely survives with his family

At the beginning of the war, Nedžad Dolo from Hadžići was a minor. At the age of 17, he joined the defense of our country. He was wounded four times during the war, and today he is a 50% war disabled veteran. A shrapnel that remained in his leg severed an artery, and an operation was unavoidable afterwards, reports the Patria News Agency.

As misfortune rarely comes alone, this brave man also started experiencing heart problems. A bypass was implanted through emergency surgery. He is unable to work and earn a living for himself and his family. He lives with his family in a house without electricity, which was built for them by good people. The house is full of dampness. His only regular monthly income is a 140 KM disability benefit, which is not enough even for the medications he desperately needs.

His wife makes plastic baskets from bottles and crochets, and their older daughter sells these products on the street, trying to provide her family with basic necessities. The youngest daughter collects empty cigarette boxes on the street and extracts aluminum foil from them to sell later. Due to the conditions in which this family lives, she has a 20% hearing loss.
