(Patria) - Israelis reported on social media that they heard explosions, especially in the areas of Tel Aviv and Haifa. This is a consequence of a new wave of barrage missile fire from Iran, which is a response to earlier Israeli attacks today.
Information is coming from Tehran about collapsed buildings, as well as significant damage caused by car bombs. Five car bombs exploded in Tehran.
The Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces sounded air raid sirens across central and northern Israel on Sunday afternoon amid a wave of ballistic missiles launched from Iran.
However, Magen David Adom stated that they had not received any reports of injuries or calls after Iran launched the latest barrage of missiles. The IDF confirmed that they had not received any reports of missiles hitting Israeli territory.
The Tehran Times writes that Iranian air defense repelled an attack by Israeli drones in Qom. The same source states that Iranian missiles hit strategic targets at the refinery in Haifa, and that the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was targeted.
This media outlet also published a video of missiles falling in Israel.
