Real Sociedad fans show support for Palestine with unprecedented performance

(Patria) - Fans of Spanish club Real Sociedad staged a rarely seen performance during their Champions League match against Benfica in the middle of last week, showing support for Palestine and the people of Gaza in an unusual way, who are at the mercy of Israel and its army.

A handful of fans from the Basque team appeared in the stands and performed a performance wearing white overalls, which also had traces of red colour, reminiscent of blood.

Dressed like that, the Sociedad fans also displayed Palestinian flags in the stands.

Israel launched relentless airstrikes and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following the cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7.

Support for Palestinians from European countries is growing, while relentless attacks and the massacre of civilians in Gaza continue unabated, reports Faktor.ba.

At least 11,078 Palestinians have been killed, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women.
