Liverpool fans attacked in Milan!

(Patria) - A group of Liverpool fans was attacked on Tuesday evening in Milan.

The Liverpool Echo reports that the Liverpool fans were peacefully eating and drinking in the city when they were attacked by a large group of Milan fans.

One fan told the Echo that he had to go to the hospital for stitches after being hit in the head during the incident. According to him, he was sitting peacefully in a cafe when a group of about thirty people dressed in black started throwing bottles and chairs.

"They were spitting at us and throwing things, overturning tables. Several of our fans tried to escape into some of the neighboring cafes. Something hit me in the head, I'm not even sure what it was, I got a cut. I managed to get into another cafe. Some girl put a towel on my wound, and an ambulance took me for stitches," said one of the fans.
