SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Amidst political conflicts in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the country's NATO path, NATO HQ Sarajevo issued a message on the social network Facebook, reports the Patria agency.
"Our goal is not to provoke conflict but to prevent it and preserve peace," is the message from NATO HQ in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The NATO path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e., sending Bosnia and Herzegovina's Annual National Programme (ANP) to Brussels, is one of the key issues on which political leaders in BiH have disagreed in recent months.
The ANP is one of the conditions for the activation of the NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP), which represents a very precise program of assistance, practical support, and consultations, intended for countries that have applied for NATO membership.
