NATO HQ supports NCOs of the Armed Forces of BiH

In the period from 20-22 October 2015, a workshop is being held at the Peace Support Operations Training Centre in Camp Butmir, dealing with the doctrinal publication "Functioning of the Non-Commissioned Officers Corps in the Armed Forces of BiH", reports the Patria News Agency.

The aforementioned publication is intended for commanders, chief non-commissioned officers of commands and key staff personnel at all levels and provides a framework for establishing a functional non-commissioned officers corps of the AF BiH.

Non-commissioned officers and officers of the AF BiH are participating in the workshop and will, during its course, process the material produced so far and send the final version for further procedure in accordance with the bylaws of the AF BiH.

The goal of the doctrinal publication is to facilitate the work of AF BiH members within the non-commissioned officers corps in terms of the place, role, career and training of non-commissioned officers of the AF BiH.

The workshop is organized under the auspices of the NATO HQ Sarajevo, and in addition to members of the NATO HQ, representatives of the Office of Defense Cooperation and the Command of the US Forces in Europe also contributed.
