NATO path: Council of Ministers of BiH on Annual National Programme

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH is expected to consider the Draft Annual National Programme of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2018 – 2019 at today's session, prepared by the Commission for NATO Integration Process of BiH. 

This is a document that was requested from BiH at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member countries.

The adoption of this plan would ultimately mean the activation of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) to NATO, which BiH has been waiting for years, and it includes answers to a set of questions in the areas of politics, defence, resources, and legal matters.

Ministers from SDS are not prepared to support this programme.    

Also on the agenda is the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2019.  Ministers will also consider the security situation in BiH in 2017, as well as proposals for the work programmes of some state institutions.
