RS National Assembly session continued, opposition banned from entering

The interrupted session of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska continued today around 2 PM without the presence of opposition politicians, writes Patria News Agency.

The session, instead of being held in the large hall, continued in the small hall of the National Assembly, and opposition politicians were not allowed to enter the hall.

The session continued with an agenda that the opposition did not accept, which is why the session was interrupted.

The opposition claims that the ban on their representatives entering the small hall is a violation of the constitutional order of Republika Srpska.

This morning, no agreement was reached at the session of the Collegium of the RS National Assembly regarding the continuation of the session interrupted last night. MPs from opposition parties then gathered around the table of the Presidency of the RS National Assembly, thus physically preventing the continuation of the session.

Opposition MPs had three demands for the continuation of the session, but representatives of the ruling parties did not agree to their demands.

The first demand was to return the Consolidated Audit Report on the Execution of the RS Budget for 2016 to the agenda.
