Continuation of the House of Peoples session: Will the FBiH get a budget on January 11?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The continuation of the 8th session of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the Draft Budget of the FBiH for 2021 will be discussed, will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 12:00 PM.

The session will be held in compliance with all prescribed epidemiological measures in the building of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Media and the public will be able to follow the session via a stream on the YouTube channel of the House of Peoples, which will be open.

We remind you that the originally scheduled session was interrupted during the discussion of the Draft Budget. First, the President of the Bosniak Caucus requested a break, and after returning to the hall, the presiding officer Tomislav Martinović announced the session was adjourned after an agreement with the delegate caucuses.

Somewhat earlier, the deputies of the House of Representatives of the FBiH supported the Draft Budget on the first attempt.

If the budget is not adopted by the end of this year, the Federation will have to adopt a decision on temporary financing.

The total proposed budget amount for the Federation of BiH in 2021 is 5,481,251,899 KM, which is 27.7 million less than this year's budget, or more precisely, from the rebalancing carried out in April.
