Continuation of the "Zadruga" operation: Several people detained, Mirza Čelik and his wife among the suspects

In the continuation of the "Zadruga" operation, which was carried out on Monday under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, two people Midhat Hajrić and Sanela Hadžibulić–Smajović were arrested and are currently undergoing criminal processing, reports the Patria agency. Hajrić is the director of the company STEP, which among other things maintains signaling and traffic lights in Sarajevo. 

Searches were conducted at several locations, and several people were detained, questioned, and released to defend themselves from freedom, confirmed by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

Mirza Čelik, head of the SDA Club in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton and owner of the company "Telefongradnja", was also questioned as a suspect for money laundering. His wife, Indira Čelik, was also detained. After questioning, they were released to defend themselves from freedom. The Patria agency previously wrote about tenders won by the company Telefongradnja in Sarajevo Canton and conflicts of interest.

Nataša Fazlić, Elmedin Kordić, Samir Šehović, Nedim Ćehajić, Edin Prljača, Mirsad Ličina, Amir Pirušić, Huso Kokor, Samira Kušljugić, Rubina Bučo, Mevlida Boja, Sead Hubjer, Enes Hadžiahmić, and Haris Rahman were also questioned as suspects.

The arrested and suspected individuals are charged with the criminal offenses of organized crime in connection with the criminal offenses of abuse of position or authority and money laundering. 

The "Zadruga" operation began on January 25, when 15 people were arrested, and dozens were questioned as suspects for various criminal offenses and financial malversations.
