Continuation of Operation Coral: Another person arrested on suspicion of being a member of a criminal organization

In the continuation of activities within the scope of the "Coral" operation, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) last night (November 26, 2015) arrested an individual with initials J.Č. (1961) in the Sarajevo area, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The individual with initials J.Č. is suspected of committing the criminal offense of receiving gifts and other benefits, giving gifts and other benefits, and other criminal offenses as a member of a criminal organization.

Following criminal processing, the arrested individual was handed over last night for further proceedings to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, by whose order they were arrested.

We remind you that in the "Coral" operation, which was carried out on October 8, 2015, ten people were arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with the criminal offenses of tax evasion, endangering safety, obstructing an official in performing an official act, damaging another's property, aggravated theft, organizing resistance, and others. On the same day, facilities at ten locations were searched with the aim of finding and temporarily seizing items that could serve as evidence in further proceedings.
