Naša stranka: We call on the BiH Prosecutor's Office to investigate threats of unrest in the south of the country

(Patria) - The Croatian National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HNS BiH) at yesterday's session adopted a series of conclusions regarding Schmidt's imposition of the Decision on Amendments to the Election Law in BiH. These conclusions are a false political pamphlet, but also an attack on the constitutional order of our country, Naša stranka states. 

“The HNS conclusions are not only a false political pamphlet attacking and insulting everything that Bosnia and Herzegovina should be – a civic-oriented state with equal rights for all its citizens and peoples, but also the operationalization of an attack on the constitutional order of our country, which the HNS announced at the beginning of the year. 

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state of the Croatian people, no less than of the Serb or Bosniak people. The frustrations of Croats are justified due to the persistent insistence of the Croatian political leadership that the votes of Croats in Tuzla, Zenica or Sarajevo are worth less than in Mostar, Livno or Ljubuški, and their justified fear that as a people, in a political sense, they will disappear from those parts of our country. The HNS is solely responsible for this. 

There is no problem between the Bosniak and Croatian peoples, as claimed in their statement, but between coalition partners SDA and HDZ. The fact that the HDZ, due to Izetbegović's signature on the Mostar Agreement on legitimate representation, unsuccessfully tried to impose a solution for constitutional and electoral reforms is a problem and responsibility of Izetbegović and Čović. 

The OHR and the High Representative are still very much needed as allies for the citizens and peoples of this country, as well as for political options that genuinely advocate for a European Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the fight against forces that, by constantly raising national tensions, persistently push our country back into insecurity, conflict, and violence. Naša stranka remains open to genuine negotiations organized within the institutions of this country, with the aim of finding better solutions, both constitutional and for the clearly contentious issues in the country's election legislation. 

Finally, we call, first and foremost, on the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to investigate and comment on the information that threats of "possible unrest in the south of the country" were officially made, as well as open announcements of "initiating legal and political procedures in favor of the institutional and territorial reorganization of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with federal principles", which is nothing other than an open call to overthrow the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We expect that relevant representatives of the international community will also comment on these truly real and concrete threats,” Naša stranka stated.
