Naša stranka: Tegeltija's political subservience requires a reaction from the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Naša stranka has already commented on the unconstitutional demands of officials from the RS entity, with a clear message that the departure of foreign judges from the Constitutional Court of BiH should not even be considered before Bosnia and Herzegovina's accession to NATO and the European Union.

At the same time, Naša stranka considers the statements of the HJPC President Milan Tegeltija that he will follow the positions of the RS entity, and that he himself will refuse to participate in decision-making in the HJPC, to be particularly dangerous.

"We note that it was precisely Milan Tegeltija who insisted on the alleged independence of the judiciary when he refused to be subject to parliamentary oversight due to his role in the 'potkivanje' (shoeing) affair. His open willingness to obey possible political orders from Milorad Dodik has revealed his true intentions, his political subservience, and represents a particularly dangerous form of coup d'état," stated Naša stranka. 

Naša stranka therefore calls on the competent judicial bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office, to react to such positions and not to allow political influence on the judiciary. If such a reaction is absent, the international community has a responsibility, in accordance with Annex 10 and UN Security Council resolutions, to take all measures to preserve peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
