According to an official statement from the Brooklyn Nets, our captain Mirza Teletović was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles due to breathing problems during the game with the Clippers and after a series of tests, including a CT scan, Teletović was diagnosed with bilateral pulmonary embolism (multiple blood clots in the lungs), reports the BH News Agency Patria.
Teletović will therefore be hospitalized in Los Angeles until further notice, where he will undergo further diagnostic tests, after which he will begin blood-thinning therapies.
Due to this health problem, Teletović will not be able to play until the end of the season.
As soon as he gets permission to travel, Teletović will return to Brooklyn, and additional information about his health condition will be announced later.
