National Assembly of RS adopts decision to call a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH

The National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted a decision to call a referendum on the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, after a two-day session, reports the Patria news agency.

45 deputies voted for the decision, while 31 deputies abstained.

According to the agenda, the referendum should be held within a period of six months.

The referendum question will be: "Do you support the unconstitutional and unauthorized imposition of laws by the High Representative of the international community in BiH, particularly the imposed laws on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the application of their decisions on the territory of Republika Srpska?"

Representatives of the Serbian people stated today that the decisions of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH are biased and directed against the Serbian population, and that is why they want to call a referendum. 

The President of RS, Milorad Dodik, said that the system directed against Serbs was imposed by the High Representative, but also that the Prosecutor's Office and Courts are under the influence of the Party of Democratic Action. He finally called on citizens living in the RS to sue the High Representatives in the countries they come from, announcing that the RS will even provide budget funds for legal assistance to all those harmed by the High Representatives, reports NAP.
